The JJ 12BH7-A can be used as a direct replacement for any 12BH7 tube, or in certain amplifiers (for instance, our Audiode Overdrive/Distortion Pedal or in the first preamp position of our Audity One Recording Amplifier), a reasonable substitution for a 12AX7 to provide reduced gain and improved headroom.
